100% Natural · Before any money changes hands

Before you spend
a single rupee.

Work out what your plant is actually short of before you pay for anything. And if it turns out to be short of nothing, that is a cheaper sentence to read now than to work out for yourself three weeks after the bag arrives.

A rose in flower among lavender.

Reason III · The shortage is not information

You can ask before guessing.

One yellow leaf now produces twenty confident instructions. The scarce thing is judgement for this container, this season, this week.

Water more. Water less. Add compost. Add fertiliser. Try something from the kitchen. You can follow all of it and still not know which answer belongs to your plant, because none of it was written about your plant. So before you spend anything, describe what you are actually seeing and let Plant Doctor work through it with you — what the plant is, where it sits, how you have been watering it, what changed recently. It is free with an account, and Prahas keeps your plant’s case so you never have to repeat yourself. A product is not assumed to be the ending. The point is that you stop buying things your plant was never short of in the first place, and start fixing the thing that is actually wrong.

Reason VI · Restraint is the product

We will tell you when not to buy.

When a plant falters, buying feels like care. One packet, then another, until a small fault has become a cupboard of half-used material and a plant that looks much the same.

Most of us have done it, and that habit is the thing we are set against — not you. Sometimes one appropriate input is enough. Sometimes the correction is water, drainage or light. Sometimes the right purchase is nothing at all, and you should hear that from us before you hear it from your bank statement. So our pages say what each product can reasonably help with and then stop. Where we have no test, no certificate and no assay, we say that in plain words instead of reaching for a scientific-sounding sentence that would do the job of one. A range is judged by what it is willing to refuse. A shop that never tells you no is not being generous with you. It is being generous with itself, and you pay for the difference one bag at a time.

Before you decide

Tell us what you are actually looking at.

Describe the plant, the pot and what changed, and Plant Doctor works through it with you. Free, no account, about two minutes. If the answer turns out to be that you do not need anything, it will say that too — which is the whole reason this page exists before the shop does.

The cheapest bag is the one you did not need to buy.
