Who we are
This website is run by Prahas Earth, a seller of 100% natural soil inputs in India. For anything about your information, write to support@prahas.online.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, phone number, email, delivery address and PIN code, and the products you ordered.
- When you create an account: your name, email and the details needed to sign you in.
- When you write to us: your name, email and whatever you choose to put in your message.
- When you use Plant Doctor, Growing Guide or Plant Match: the plant details, symptoms, location or PIN code, and any photos you choose to share, so we can give you an answer.
- Technical basics: the small amount of information any website needs to work, such as a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in.
- How the site is used, counted anonymously: which pages are opened, what is clicked, how long a page is open and how far down it is read, what goes into the cart, and which pages a visit passed through before an order. These counts carry no name, email, phone number, address or IP address. No cookie is used for them: your browser keeps two random tags, one for the visit and one that changes every day, so no one can be followed from one day to the next. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, your visit is not counted.
Why we use it
- To take, pack, deliver and support your order.
- To answer your questions and give plant guidance.
- To keep your account working and secure.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
Only the people we need in order to serve you: the courier that delivers your parcel, and the companies that host this website and carry our email. They may use your information only to do that work for us. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We will disclose it if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Messages and plant guidance are kept while they are useful to help you. Anonymous visit counts are deleted after six months. You can ask us to delete your account and personal details at any time, except where the law requires us to keep a record.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email support@prahas.online and a person will answer within one working day.
Security
We take reasonable care to protect your information. No system on the internet is perfectly secure, and if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will appear on this page with a new date. See also our Terms and Returns & refunds.
